Our Second February in the East Bay - Flowers

It was February 1, 2014 when we moved into the eco-cottage on 37th Street to rent until we were able to find and buy a house.  I remember being astounded by all the flowers that were blooming.  A year later, I'm still in awe.

From our recent visit to another park, this one donated by East Bay poet Joaquin Miller:

Steps to the theater area
Wildflowers growing out of cracks in the steps

A great place for a walk - We'll be back.

Seen on walks around the neighborhood:

Delighted to see that daffodils will grow here

First to bloom - the sport of one that was bright orange
One can never have too many orchids
